patgundWell, I'm at work today, and yes, I did a Ringwraith costume, (but not the token-ringwraith, because I didn't have time to braid the Cat5 cable. Maybe for a con.)
Personally, I'll vote for my lab manager's "Smurfette" costume as the scarier of the lot.
I've been so spoiled by the SCA and Cons. The ringwraith sword I have is a $49 cheapie pakistanrip off replica. In my viewpoint, just barely worthwhile as a prop, not anything close to a real sword. Ah, but to the mundane viewpoint, I have a *real* sword and ooh, isn't that a scary costume. I also wasn't able to finish the hooded cloak for it either, but everyone else seems to think it's absolutely wonderful. Go figure.
You know, the black rider costume is somewhat appropriate. There are times I feel like I work in Mordor for Sauron's older sister.....
