Well, all three of the people that WonderTwit wanted to have working for her Educational seminar have basically said "Like Hell!" to her asking with less than three weeks notice to work the first day of a three day weekend.

The problem is that the other two, since they're in different departments, can say that without problems. I'm not that lucky. However, I've already decided that I don't care. She wants me to work that day, I want at least double-time. IF not more. That being said, I still might not work it - my time away from that lab is more important.

HR is useless, (plus I can't trust the HR person since I found she was forwarding my private concerns about that lab to Clueless Wonder Boss.) Labour Board said the amount of time was insufficant, and they should have asked us at least two weeks ago. (sigh)

Even if I didn't have anything planned, I think I just may have some "travel plans come up, oh gee, I'd help if I could....."
