Poppy Jack!!
Jan. 30th, 2004 04:46 pmHave to excuse me, I just got back from my eye exam, and everything's a little fuzzy right now.......
No real surprise, my perscription still hasn't changed much in the 35 years I've been wearing glasses. The only real change this time was a AR coating to help with reflected light.
Because it's been 7 years since my last pupil dilation, I had to undergo that as well. Focus should return in another hour. Joy. I've got the resolution on my monitor dialed up fairly high in the meantime.
The "puff test" to check internal eye pressure showed an elevation in pressure, so they followed it up with the more-accurate and more-annoying pressure test - florasin in the eye, then a sapphire crystal against the eyeball to measure pressure. Pressure is normal, but my eyes are now yellow-stained with massively dilated pupils. Blegh.
I should have new glasses by the 14th though. Which means these go to my backup pair and my current backups get donated to charity. Still, getting my vision to stop fuzzing would be good.....
