Last few days.....

patgundTuesday saw me head over to Dallas to play tourist. To be precise, I went to Dealey Plaza, and the sixth floor museum.
Now, the shooting of JFK was quite before my time, yet I grew up hearing about it. So, for my family, I went and took pictures and studied to understand what they must have thought that day so long ago.
Yesterday also saw some personal business in Fort Worth and Richardson, (and dinner with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lapiskelinia, angelique69, and her daughter). I have some more personal business on thursday. Friday I need to go to DFW to extend my rental car. Plus, I'll be looking for a motel room for my final two days here, as my schedule is going to be erratic enough that I don't want to impose further on friends.
Had a lovely lunch in Fort Worth yesterday withcelticdragonfly, and her two youngest kids.
Still, starting to want to be home in SD. We'll see how long home remains though
