Quiet day so far...

Any birthday that I wake up to rain outside is going to be a good day. At least so far.

Stopped in and voted before heading to work, using San Diego's new gee-whiz-golly-no-way-to-accurately-recount-votes touch screen systems made by Liebold Diebold. Figured that since there really wasn't many choices to vote for in the primary anymore, (thank you media), there was no reason to cast an absentee vote. I'll still cast an absentee vote in the general election though, until there's a paper trail to confirm accuracy in these new system (in 2006).

Drive to work was quiet. Got more bills taken care of, winced at the $2.19 I paid for unleaded gas at Mobil in El Cajon. Can we say "price gouging"?? Ouch.

Went out for sushi last night with jadeinsoca, blackflag669, and ismarc. Yum. And again, yum.
