patgundSo I'm getting ready to make my Hwy 99 roadtrip in October, driving up from San Diego to Vancouver, spend about four days in Vancouver, and then drive back down to San Diego, floating my resume in Seattle and Portland along the way. I figure I'll load my travel bag, my laptop, and "Violet", my new purple Sharpsicle harp into my car and wander off around October 13th or so.
The idea of getting to know Violet by playing in forests and along the ocean sounds quite wonderful to me. Harp and Old Highways, whee!!!

catmcroy suggested a daytrip with another friend from an SCA list, to show me the sights of Vancouver and their various favourite places. It was suggested this be followed by a trip to an all-you-can-eat sushi place. (the BC Roll (smoked salmon and cucumber) sounded good to me.)
I argeed on the idea, but expressed my concern that they might have shortages at the sushi place if I'm there..........
.....after all, I'm a harper, and therefore used to being out of tuna........ (grin, duck, run.....)
