Nothing like advance warning
Nov. 10th, 2003 10:02 amAnd this was certainly nothing like it.
Early morning teleconference, this morning. And, Sunday evening, one of the Principal Investigators, (this one at a university in Atlanta), decided she wanted to do a PowerPoint slide show via Timbuktu. Since I had already set up the conference room for the teleconference, I had to come in on Sunday to set up the additional equipment. (Computer, LCD projector, and 2nd video camera to record the screen)
The catch? She's never used Timbuktu, and had no idea how to set it up on her end. She ended up having to email the slide show to everyone, and is trying to run it verbally over the phone......
