I really can't say I think much or well of Windows XP, (though I'm wishing someone would port Trillian to OS X). It seems to be happier now that I've added 512MB more to it though.

However, I have to credit HP for some fairly smart hardware design.

Example one is are the access panels on the bottom. Three screws and you've accessed the memory bay. Three more and the hard drive is right there for removal.

Example two is the fact they included *three* power cords in the box. A UK-style two-prong, a US-style three-prong fused, (which is one of the most common here), and a US-style three-prong grounded. For an expat like me, this is a *nice* touch. (though I suspect the English / Arabic keyboard is gonna get me some strange looks when I return to the states)

Some of the special command buttons along the top are nice, (I have a simular keyboard to that on my G4)

It's not bad hardware design. I almost wish I could get a developers copy of OS X for intel for it though.......
