Nov. 15th, 2005 07:15 pmLiving in Qatar can be interesting. Especially at the markets. Most of the larger "Hypermarkets" try to cater to the North American, European, and Pakistani/Indian markets, with some coverage towards the Fillipino, Japanese, and Chinese markets as well.
As a result, two common staples in the bakeries are things like Croissants and French loaves, Italian Breads, and Nan, (or Naan), a Indian flat bread.
At Q-Mart a day or so ago, I stopped and stared, my brain refusing to parse what my eyes were seeing.

I swear that reality tries to tweak with me at times.....
