My day with Anne

Well, I just got back from a date with Anne.

Rescui-Anne to be precise. It was my time to renew my CPR (Adult, Child, & Infant) card, as well as my First Aid card, and get AED training.

Bad knees and CPR training do not go together well.

Scored 100 on all my tests though. Either I've gotten good at the classes, or they've dumbed them down tremendously.

Tired Gund - but a happier Gund. Now I need to send copies to the current Kingdom Chirurgeon to renew my warrant.

The newer Annes have removable faces. You keep your face all during the class, and at the end of the class, toss it in a bin so they can wash them. Same with the baby Annes.

Of course, this means you're looking at this disimbodied face on your desk during the classes.

Gods that class has been watered down though. I could have challenged the exams and got the same results I suspect. Suspect I may have to go for First Responder classes next time though. (They also have a new Wilderness First Aid class that looks good).

I should also retake the Pet First Aid class. While that cert doesn't expire, I'm rusty on the info. Though the dog and cat CPR dummies are pretty funky.

True - though it was the first with her removable face, rather than just using alcohol to wipe the face after practice.
