Northbound on Highway 1....

I took a drive north today. Which means I have now hit all four directions of the country of Qatar.



Just another example of the former US and Canadian school buses on the streets of Doha. Or else this is one heck of a field trip



The traffic department has taken to posting examples of what idiot driving will create. I doubt it will help



Yep. Land Cruiser. The Qatari national vehicle. People are more than likely more upset over what the driver did to the land cruiser than what happened to the driver.



Northbound on Highway 1



Yep, it's - surprise - sand. With some occasional greenery



They're trying to get Qatari males to wear seat belts. It's not working



All up and down Highway 1, there are bus stop shelters. All in fairly good care, and as near as I can tell, almost unused. At least not by Qataris



As I said, in good condition



At this point, I am at the northernmost point in Qatar. Not counting the islands in front of me,
