Arachnophobes may want to warned about this scene:

"In a sequence long awaited by fans, Gollum lures Frodo into a tunnel inhabited by an enormous spider named Shelob. As it pounds behind Frodo in the darkness, the spider—partly because Jackson himself just hates the damn things—looks almost photo-real and moves with a terrifying stealth."

Yeah, I've been dreading that one from the beginning. I only watched HP:CoS on DVD so I could skip those two scenes.

But I'm too much of an addict to skip over any of LOTR . . . at least once. If Laura can skip the Helm's Deep battle, I can skip Shelob on rewatchings.

I picked up Newsweek in the airport just for that article. Shelob looks suitably scary and wicked. Methinks I'll be hiding through that part.
