Car seat.....

Well, was planning to get a new car seat for Little Bit shortly anyway. At 37 pounds, she's close to the weight limit on hers, and getting past the height limit as well. A 2 year old in a almost 3 year old's body at times.

However, it's now achieved more urgency. Seems she's now figured out how to undo the seat belts and restraints on her car seat. As her mum discovered when she was driving and suddenly felt little hands playing with her hair.........

Mental note for me - make sure the child safety latches on my Saturn's back doors are set in the on position now.....

Yikes! Luckily mine knew not to unbuckle it unless they were told to do so. They'd heard me going off one too many times about kids standing up in the backseats of other people's cars because we have a large population of the idiot contingent here. I can't remember how many times I've said, "That kid standing up in the backseat is going to be thrown through the windshield and killed if that driver has to hit their brakes" or words to that effect.
