Three weeks or so ago, I posted pictures of a series of abandoned souks on Al Rayyan street in Doha.....
This was the passageway to the back shops in Souk Akkaz. Note the tree behind the staircase.....(May 13, 2006)
Taken from under that tree. Not much remains.....(June 3rd, 2006)
This was the stairway leading up to....
The roof where I took this shot of this tower. (May 16th, 2006)
And this is the building I took that picture of the tower from. And yes, that tractor is right on top of the wreckage. Not unusual when the mounds of rubble are 2 and 3 stories high....(June 3rd, 2006)
