The good and the bad......

Good:

The reimbursement paperwork for shipping is in.

My last time sheet is in.

Housing emailed me to tell me that they won't count damage to the furnishings against me because the furnishings are so shoddy.

My co-workers loved the Toll-House chocolate/chocolate/chocolate chip biscuits I baked last night.

Almost everything is packed and waiting for my departure date.

A driver is lined up to take me to Doha International Airport Wednesday night.

Bad:

Ministry of the Interior still hasn't returned my passport with the voided work visa in it. (I had to give HR my passport when I gave notice so the MoI could void it). HR is saying I should have it, and my plane tickets, by my exit interview Wednesday.

If not?

There are no flights leaving Doha on thursday night. So if I got my passport back on thursday. and if HR can get me a ticket that quickly, the earliest I could be out is friday night.

And if it doesn't show on thursday??

Sunday is Qatari Independance Day.

Monday is US Labour Day. So four day weekend at work.

The earliest I could leave would be next Wednesday.....

Grrrrrrrrrr.
