patgundSo I got back to the flat in Monrovia last night, opened the door....
....and was met by a chemical reek. That, and the traps left behind showed the reason why.
The landlord sprayed for roaches yesterday.
Now, I'm for anything that keeps that kind of vermin at bay, and hopefully dead to boot. But it also meant dealing with the stink as well.
Opened a window, bumped up the space heater, (may have to figure out how to strip the windows to retain heat better, or blanket them for the time being), and went to bed, woke up this morning bloody cold and my chest hurting from the fumes.
