Just got off the phone with my insurance carrier. I strongly suspect they'll deny the claim. Why? No police report. Why was there no police report? Because the police were too busy trying to KEEP PEOPLE OUT OF THE DAMMED FIRE ZONE!!!!!!

At least if they deny it, it means I have something to appeal to give FEMA during the appeal.
