What's that?!?

Talked with Little Bit on the phone last night - and heard her new phrase. Yep, she's now in the "What's That?" phase of toddlerhood. She'll either point to something and say what it is, or ask "what's that". Pretty much constantly too.

At one point, she pointed to herself (according to her mum), and asked "What's that"??

Her mum said "A busy little girl".

And Little Bit said "Okay!"

I am so doomed when she gets to the "why??" phase.......

Maggie seems to have come up with something that sounds vaguely like "I don't know!" which she is using sometimes when the therapist asks her a question. (Therapist's usual answer "yes you do!")

If we got the two kids together, would we get an infinite loop?

I got through the why phase pretty quickly. My mother was one of those that if she couldn't dazzle you with brillance would baffle you with BS. She would answer the question to the best of her ability and then if you kept it up would go into supposition and theory and myth and, and, and.... Blessed Be, Angelique
