patgundThe good news......the tooth I thought was cracked, wasn't Filling had cracked, and there was a new cavity under it.
The bad news, $225 later, I'm out of there with a deep cleaning on one side, and three replacement fillings on one side, including the problematic tooth. The silver fillings I had from the age of 16 were falling apart, and one of those broken fillings caused the pain and problems that I thought were cracked. I now have epoxy-glass resin fillings instead on that side.
The worse news? I'm looking at nearly $1300 in ADDITIONAL work they recommend. Cleaning on the other side, replacement of five fillings, and a crown on the tooth that I thought was broken.
It's going to have to wait until after I move to Seattle and get a new job or work assignment. If I had it all done now, I couldn't move. And I have to be out of here by the end of the month.
