Heh, people always seem to think that we must have been paid MORE in LA. Wrong.
Now you see why we snort when people ask us when we're coming back to CA. We miss all our friends terribly, but there's just no way in hell we could afford it or get decent jobs... it sucks.
However, for the forseeable future, I'm pretty much trapped in CA, unless I can find a decent job just over the CA/NV or CA/AZ border. I've really only got one bright spot in my life, and I'd really like to see her grow up as much as I can.
