Book Discovery.......
Feb. 17th, 2004 11:35 amWhile coming back from visiting Little Bit over the weekend, I stopped at one of my favourite used bookstores in Poway.
And found hardback copies *with* dust jackets of "Cetaganda" and "Memory". For $2.50 each. Since I didn't have the hardbacks of those, I immediately grabbed them. Turned out, while I was paying for them, that they had originally been owned by the bookstore owner, who's also a Bujold fan. We spent a few minutes discussing "Winterfair Gifts" before I left.
Only thing I need to do is find a decent bookplate to place in the book to cover up the used bookstore address stamp.
Now if only I could find one of my *two* hardback copies of "A Civil Campaign" before I leave for ConDFW.......
