Rainy morning

Well, couldn't sleep as late as I wanted, so I'm awake in my hotel room. Need to be out of here by noon, and my rental car needs to be at DFW by 1pm. Of course, my flight leaves at 4:34pm, so I knock around the airport for a few hours......

Might be more than a couple. Weather Underground reports a chance of thunderstorms and winds between 20 and 50 mph. And it's rather wet outside. Oy.

I'll be back in San Diego at 5:46pm. Supposed to meet some friends for sushi later in the evening. If I get there.

For the most part, a good trip. Some bad, some good parts. Lots of things to think about.

Oh, and celticdragonfly and selenite, I'm *still* working on the cookie you gave me. :-)

Weatherbug says the line of storms should move east of Dallas by 9:30, which is good, since I'm taking the boys out somewhere this morning. Karl's staying home with Maggie, who's been having feverish bouts since Friday evening.

Glad computer is working well, sorry Maggie's feeling ill. Same bug Karl had at ConDFW?? At any rate, hope she's better soon.

One good thing about the rain - it's the first time since Wednesday that my allergies haven't been bugging me.

The cookie is quite good. I wrapped the box in plastic to keep it fresh, and I've been nibbling on it here and there. Suspect it will go to work with me tomorrow.

Not to worry. They fly out of DFW with slight breezes like that, no problem, and rain doesn't faze them. Now, if it were freezing rain or sleet or ice storms, maybe. But rain? Pfft! Nooooooo Problem.
