At the airport

Using D/FW's WiFi connection points to spend some time while waiting for my flight to get here. It boards in a bit over 2 hours, so I have a batch of time to wait.

Car is back at the rental office, and I was able to get though checkpoint charlie security with no problems this time. Mainly because almost everything made of metal I had was in the trays. Gak. Wish there was someway to make the process less intrusive though.

Weather has cleared out and is blue and sunny. Starting to believe that Dallas/Fort Worth doesn't have seasons or weather as much as mood swings. (laugh)

Sushi is on hold tonight, but should happen tomorrow. I'm a very tired Gund. May go to sleep early tonight.

Had dinner at Grady's last night. Been trying places that I can't find in California. Grady's had decent catfish actually. Got a Sonic's cherry limeade fix. Also, over the week, tried "Whataburger" a couple of times. A lot like In and Out Burgers in California, except the french fries are actually edible at Whataburger.

A big thanks to ziactrice, celticdragonfly and selenite, lapiskelinia, ghostlyviolet, and angelique69 for their visits and company on this trip. Big hugs to you all.

I'm sure you meant "except the french fries are actually edible at In-N-Out Burgers.

Everybody knows INOB has the best fries of any buger chain.

No, I meant what I said. In and Out fries are decent when fresh and hot, but after a few minutes are more like stale shoestring potatoes. Ugh.

They're still better than Burger Kings though.
