Woman impales man with thermometer
"A Luzerne County woman is facing an assault charge after allegedly impaling her boyfriend with a meat thermometer Sunday afternoon.
Ashley Sherlinski, 24, of 19 W. Eighth St., Apt. 5, Wyoming, threw the thermometer at Eric Dixon, 33, same address, when he opened the door at their apartment after she had been banging on it, police said. The thermometer stuck about a half-inch into his upper stomach area, he told police.
Ms. Sherlinski was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Gerald Feissner and released on her own recognizance with the condition she has no contact with Mr. Dixon. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 21 in Luzerne County Court."
....I don't want to roast the reporter, but it really doesn't say what her beef was. Depending on what happened, this might have been well done. I'm sure this happens only on rare occasions.
Still, he's going to be pretty tender for a while.
