LinuCon???

Have some friends trying to talk me into going out to LinuCon in Austin, Texas, on October 8-10 of this year.

LinuCon is a mixed Gaming/SF/Anime/Linux convention. Guests include Eric Raymond, Steve Jackson, and Eric Flynt.

Part of me is tempted. Part of me is joking about the concept that with that mix of subjects, I may be one of the few people there with two X chromosomes............ (Laugh)

Austin's a lot more accessible that where-ever-it-is Michigan where Penguicon is.

I'm almost tempted, but my 10 year HS reunion is that weekend.

You know, we have Linux boxen in my lab, used for high-end imaging processing and as anti-spam firewalls.

I could, quite possibly, write this off as a business expense. or at least get the institute to write off part of it......

And it happens after I start my third year here......

...Yes, I do. I have klinefelter's syndrome, which means I'm an XXY. Actually, I'm a klinefelter's moasic, with a kerotype of 85/15 XY/XXY. While sterility happens in many KS cases, it wasn't the case for me. (A friend jokes I'm the human version of a fertile male calico cat. It happens, they're just rare.)
