Llamas at Funeral....
Feb. 15th, 2009 10:16 amI am now having flashbacks to the llama funeral scene in "Barn of the Blood Llama"......
Llamas part of honor guard at man's funeral
"Terry McCrone was remembered as a man who was passionate not only about his family, but also the llamas he raised at his Plymouth Township farm.
So perhaps it was only fitting that some of McCrone's llamas turned out for his funeral on Friday in Perry Village.
An honor guard consisting of two llamas owned by McCrone and four others from a statewide llama drill team, accompanied by their handlers, lined up outside Perry Christian Church, where McCrone's funeral was held.
McCrone, 61, died of cancer on Feb. 7.
During McCrone's eulogy, the Rev. Bob Ladygo, pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Madison Township, told of McCrone's llamas coming to the window of his home where they could see him after he became ill.
"It was as if they were telling him that now it was their turn to take care of him," Ladygo said."
