patgundI've been keeping an eye on how 3-D "printing" or prototyping has been developing, with the technology getting more portable and more sophisticated.
And realizing it wouldn't be a surprise that within ten years, we'll have a setup that can be, oh, say, wheeled into a dealers room at the start of a con and have props, costuming parts and supplies made or prototyped as one waits.
Be interesting to see how that develops.
