I've met samples of pretty much the entire list. And "The Missionary" sums up most of my experiences with the California LP.....

Some might still call me an example of the left-wing type. I'd rather call myself a moderate with a belief strong civil liberties.

That's pretty much what I am. I was registered Libertarian for a bit, but most of the people who identfy as such seem to not care about civil liberties and care an awful lot about Atlas Shrugged (my uncle being the only exception in recent memory). I'm just not willing to lay down with the "fuck you, I got mine" crowd.

You could make the same chart for liberals and "conservatives" as well.

Although most liberals would never call themselves as such... mostly they try to consider themselves "mainstream".
