Dispatches from Birtherstan - for 3 - 6 July 2010

And the long weekend celebrating US Independence covers the Birtherstani as well. We have more submissions from Damon Dunn's attorneys. The RAPmasters, having not delivered on their jive, are now finding mad excuses as to why. The Pest and eFail is all over the place, with articles on Sharon Meroni, Walter Fitzpatrick, and Mario Apuzzo, all of which boil down to "Wahh, that uppity darkie is STILL PRESIDENT!!". Bob Pinkstaff still needs medication. We have a conspiracy ABOUT Dr. Orly, (as opposed to one she simply supports). Dan Lacey seems to enjoy making fun of nitrous-addled dentists. Polland / Polarik releases his latest video and makes himself seem stupider. Joseph Farah is still trying to turn tricks for World Nut Daily on the streets of downtown birtherstan, and the Globe Magazine is getting made fun of.

I'm sorry to say this, but can I be filtered out of these posts? They fill up my LJ and they're more offensive than funny. The uppity darkie comment is the last I can take. I fully understand that you're addlibbing, but at this point it's too much. I've had my fill of birther snark.

Besides, I don't care whether he is or isn't from Hawaii, because if he hadn't been, Hilary would have buried him in that scandal and she couldn't pull it off.

I'm not asking you to stop writing them. By all means, carry on. If I change my mind, I will visit badfiction. You're my friend and I want to know about your life and your daughter. So if it's possible to filter me, it would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to add to the tapes, either. I'm sorry if this hurts or offends you because that is truly not my intent. If you don't wish to filter, don't worry about it, either way, we'll survive. But could you please consider it?
