Permissions and registry corruption on our bookkeeper's machine Paychecks are gonna have to be done by hand until I can fix it.

I know the feeling. I have a crappy acer laptop I got for $75 from a friend. Blue screen of death on the OEM vista so I wiped the drive and put in xp. That lasted for less than a month. Now running linux and it's running GREAT! :)
