Dispatches from Birtherstan - for 8 - 9 September 2010

In today's dispatches, we have more on Dr. Kate's "usurpathon" and the crowd she attracted. The Pest and eFail whines that the Government and courts won't accept claims as unquestioned fact. Lucas Smith seems to be becoming the darling of the (unthinking, unquestioning) birtherstani. Walter Fitzpatrick gives his expert opinion to Lakin. And World Nut Daily has a leaflet full of lies - and oh yeah, they want money too.

What's interesting to note though is we're seeing some of the birtherstani start to (dimly) realize they don't have anywhere close to the numbers and support from the general population like they thought they did while in their little self-censored echo chambers. After two years of them stomping their feet and demanding that Obama be arrested yesterday if possible, it's starting to dawn on them that nobody's listening or taking them seriously.

We'll see if the crazy gets ratcheted up any as a result.
