Just found out there's Yet Another Book in Jean Auel's on-going PaeloPorn series.

Damnit. Why can't I stop while I'm ahead, like I did once I realized with "Wheel of Time" that I was actively rooting for the character's gruesome deaths??

Oh, that's right. Morbid curiosity about if this will be the book that Ayla invents agriculture, germ theory, the internal combustion engine, nuclear fusion, and spaceflight.

Wheel of Time? You mean there were more than 4 or 5 books. It's as bad as some of the other series I've gotten caught up in.

Well, there's a lot more titles in that series. There's serious argument that there's only about that many books, though.

It was ALWAYS planned to be a 6-book series. At least since I started reading them in high school and probably long before that. This should not be surprising to you :)

I think you should spend your money on a better writer. You could probably get that one from a library.
