Well, speaking of bumper stickers, I have a story.

I have two younger brothers and a younger half-brother. My brothers and I were up at my father's house in the San Bernardino mountains-- a two-hour drive for one brother and his family, who lived in San Diego. He and his wife are conservative Republicans of the deepest born-again dye, and know their views trespassing in a family of conservative Democrats (all oxymoron jokes about 'conservative Democrats' aside for the nonce). My brother's car was displaying a Dole Kemp bumpersticker at the time, which tells you how long ago this happened.

Seeing as how all the materials were on hand (my dad is a professional fine artist and sometimes mats and frames his own paintings), my younger brother and my father conspired to turn the bumper sticker into something else. Needless to say, Arch-Conservative Brother and Wife did not discover why so many people were honking at them until they stopped for gas when they reached the San Diego county line.

The sticker said "Roll Hemp"... Said brother and wife fell over laughing and left it on their bumper until it fell off in tatters.
