In today's dispatches, World Nut Daily keeps claiming forgery. Keyes v Bowen is conferenced for the Supreme Court. Walter Fitzpatrick shows he's just as much an immature toddler when told "no" as Dr. Orly.
The Pest and eFail publishes a letter to the Supreme Court from Gordon Epperly, which boils down to "how dare they allow Negros and Women to hold office like they were human beings or something like that". But the Pest and eFail isn't racist, oh no..... And Dr. Kate complains about being called "racist" and then goes racist on the reader.
The biggest nugget is Swiftboat liar Jerome Corsi's chock full o' libel attack piece on the gentleman that runs "The Fogbow". An attack piece that should, in a fair and just world, end up with "Foggy" owning World Nut Daily, Corsi's home, and Joseph Farah's supply of mustache dye. And Walter Fitzpatrick joins in with a whine on his own.
You know, in the last few days we've seen Corsi go after Foggy. Sam Sewell continues to try and harass me in my professional and private life. We had Tracy's little video a while back.
What that's telling me is that the birtherstani are now in full damage control mode.
Their lawsuits have failed
Their fake "grand juries" have failed
Their fake "trials" have failed
The birther bills - fail
All their various "Great White Hopes" (Issa, Trump, Vogt, Deal, etc.) - fail.
Some of Dr. Kate's most recent articles have dealt with trying to recruit more birthers - which tells me they've realized that they don't have anywhere close to the numbers or support they thought they did.
All the confident predictions, hopes, and outright demands for a military coup - fail.
And all during this time, it's been the debunkers patiently explaining why they're wrong and predicting the outcomes of their attempts. Which means they've seen us win each time they've failed.
And now they're lashing out at the only people they can - the debunkers who have made sure their claims, theories, myths, stories, and lies have been exposed to the light of day.
They know damn well what Obama's approval ratings are. They know that they've failed to gain traction among most Americans. They've seen the crop of GOP candidates, and they're cringing because they know damn well unless things get suddenly, rapidly worse in this country, Obama's going to get a second term. Which scares the crap out of them.
And, deep down inside, most of them know they're lying. Know they're going against the Constitution and every principal this country was founded on. For all they scream "fraud!" "forgery!" "de Vattel!", they know they're wrong. And so they project their actions on the debunkers. They accuse the debunkers of the same things they themselves know they're doing. And they lash out and attack when all else fails.
It's going to be a bumpy ride the next 17 months. Let's be careful, be safe, keep our ducks in a row and our powder dry. Because we're in the right.
