My school is using something called "Saxon Math" right now to teach mathematics.

Problem is that I hear "Saxon Math" and think of things like:

"If Cerdic steals two cows in a cattle raid, and Æowulf loses three of his in another raid, how many will they have to pay Erchenwine in tribute? Show your work."
