Well, that's a help
Jun. 17th, 2004 10:56 amAny day that starts off with getting an ECG has to improve, right??
Turns out the chest pain was something called costochondritis. Benign, but painful. On prescription-strength naproxin as a result.
At least it's nothing more serious.

No.
Many people have days starting with ECGs that do NOT improve. Sometimes it's followed by having their chest cut open for surgery. They're still luckier than the ones whose day started with a ECG and ended up in the morgue.
I'm EXTREMELY glad that you're having the kind of day that starts with an ECG and going UP from there.

Date: 2004-06-17 11:15 am (UTC)You've no *idea* how greatly I'm rejoicing that "it's nothing more serious"! Still, I wish you weren't in (still more) pain and needing to take a prescription-strength analgesic. What is the course of costochondritis? Is it chronic, intermittent, or acute? Can it be cured, treated, or only palliated? May I send you some positive energy for healing and/or dealing with it?
Love and bright blessings, darling--always!
