Mixed feelings (Political)

Somewhat mixed feelings on the idea. On one hand, I really wasn't planning to go, figured if I was curious, I'd wait until the DVD came out. Most of the information I've read that's presented is stuff I've been reading in many of the UK newspapers, and the idea that Saudi Arabia Is NOT Our Friend isn't a new one. (Heck, I've strongly believed that SA is not even close to being our friend. The fact that the ruling family has strong ties to the US Oil Industry and the current administration is the only reason why they still act like our friends. The fact that the majority of the 9/11 terrorists were from SA should have been a wake up call.)
On the other hand, I completely and utterly despise Michael Moore. There is something about that smarmy jerk and his attitude problem that makes me long to pet him with a large blunt object. "Bowling for Columbine" pissed me off completely, (he seems to think all gun-owners are right-wing nutjobs), and his "just normal folks" personna comes off as completely phony. I suspect he's lost all touch with the "common folk" a while back.
On the gripping hand, I strongly dislike the attempt by "Move America Forward" and their "astro-turfing" to try and convince and/or harass theaters into not showing the movie. Censorship ticks me off badly. (One of my favourite movies, "Henry and June", was picketed on opening day by people protesting the movie's "NC-17" rating.) Move America Forward guaranteed I'd be seeing it in the theatre - even if I find it to be as big of a load of crap as "Bowling" was.
I'll reserve further judgement on the movie until after I see it, and do some research on the details. (I may be finishing up "House of Bush, House of Saud" while sitting in the theatre waiting.)
