Chirurgeon Olympics.....

Someone on the SCA Chirurgeons list came up with the idea of a "Chirurgeon Olympics", and was trying to think of games to run for it.

As, daft as I am, I decided to toss this idea out to my friends, many of which have seen me in chirurgeon mode, helped me in chirurgeon mode, been *helped* by me in said mode, or are themselves past/present chirurgeons.

Besides which, some of you had some EMT or other medical training, and as such, are silly enought for ideas as well.

So far, the ideas have been:

* Stretcher races (at the "cool calm collected chirurgeon walk" ? or running?)
* Fastwrap w/ 6' gauze, complete w/ rodeo style hands in the air when complete.
* Gummy leech fling, for distance and accuracy
* Competition for how many things you can make with a latex glove (Possible prizes for best and worst?)
* Possible some blindfolded teamwork thing (w/ cravat, of course)
* An obstacle course to be traversed w/o breaking into a run, just the "cool calm collected chirurgeon walk"
* Quickdraw something out of your bag, when you're tired.

Any ideas???

Teach that stick-jock. Each contestant will be given a stick-jock chosen at random (Master Chirurgeons may get Knights) and have to get a health and safety concept through their heads. Examples: sunscreen is your friend, Gatorade diluted with rum is BAD.

No, what's gross is when the Gatorade has been left out in the sun long enough to start to ferment.

I think that's a popular drink in Meridies or Trimaris; don't think it'll catch on here, though. ;)
