Just found out that the park I live in is going to resurface the streets this week. And they're doing the section I live in on thursday.

Which means from 7am thursday to 7pm friday, I can't park at my house, but rather have to park in the park and ride a mile away, since the CHP isn't allowing people to park on the street to the park either.

And, with ComicCon up, not to mention other events, most hotel rates in San Diego are absurd right now.

Managed to get a $37 rate for a night at the El Cajon Motel 6. Not my first choice, but it's only a night.

Still a major bother though.

Dude; if you're looking for crash-space, I can offer it after 4:00pm on Thursday...we're at Comfort Inn At The Harbor, with two suites, and we'll have at least some bed space we can offer to you.

Can't guarantee privacy, but we can work on "comfortable" and "quiet".

What he means is that we should have an entire spare bed in our collection of rooms. I read that post a little differently the first time I read it. *giggle*

However, we do have the space and we would be more than happy to share it with you. The only bad part is that it is 4 miles from the Con and not on the shuttle route. We are managing to work around that.
