While sorting though the various amounts of junk that I picked up during ComicCon, I found a flyer in my TIE flightsuit, inviting me to AdultCon in Los Angeles, October 10th.

Ignoring the fact that it's the same weekend as LinuCon in Austin, I can't really see why I was handed this, much less why I would want to go. Seeing "50 porn stars" doesn't interest me in the least, and I suspect the dealers room would bore me to tears. Unless I was working in some aspect of that industry, I really don't see a point, other than amusement and the chance to give a snarky, sarcastic report back about it.

The contests they're advertising for attendees are amusing. People attending have a chance to win one of three prizes.

A date with a porn star.
A day on a porn shoot.
or
A trip to a Nevada Brothel, consisting of: "1) One act of sexual intercourse with oral sex. and 2) Roundtrip transportation from Reno, Nevada to the Pussy Cat Ranch"

Maybe they thought that your TIE pilot outfit was some kind of kink suit? Or, more likely, they were pressing these flyers on all ComiCon attendees.
