Coming back from droping off equipment, heard an unhappy sound from my front brakes.

$159 dollars spent at Saturn of Kerney Mesa later, I now have new front brakes.

(Sigh)

Holy crap, I knew $230 (down from $300!) to replace the front brake pads was a rip-off, especially when they had everything apart to inspect it anyway. I saw a price of $67 related to the pads, but even at $67 wholesale per pad that's a rip-off. I used to like Lombard Toyota; now I think maybe all dealerships just generally suck as far as suckering you into overpaying for service...
