Found out something interesting. John Frederick Lange, Jr., Ph.D, as of a 1998 report and a check of the Queens College Philosophy Facultywebpage, is a full professor in that department, specializing in Philosophy of History, Philosophy of Knowledge, and Philosophy and the Challenge of the Future.
And why is *any* of this of any interest? Because John Frederick Lange, Jr. is better known to many SF fans and others by his Nom de Plume of John Norman, the author of the 27 Gor novels, plus two non fiction books and a nonfiction paperback entitled "Imaginative Sex" which was out of print for many years but was reprinted by a specialty house.
It was scary enough when I heard he spent the 60's teaching at an all-girls school. It's scary amusing that he teaches Philosophy now.......
