I hate cars sometimes......

patgundStarted up my car to drive to work today. First thing I hear when I hit the brakes is a grinding noise from the back wheels. So take it to Saturn of El Cajon instead.
New brake pads and rotors later, and a lot poorer, I'm at work.
Not onlt does it look like I may have to write off Collegium next week as a result, I may not get a chance to see Little Bit until October. I managed to get really nailed with bills this month, and as a result, I have *no* safety margin between now and the 30th for anything but gas.
I hate living this close to the edge.

Date: 2004-09-17 04:58 pm (UTC)My '97 SW-2 is going to need a new brake master cylinder in the next 6 months. (I love it when mechanics compliment me on knowing the symptoms.) Good thing I know the symptoms, and that an adjustment was enough to compensate... for now.
