Question.....

As a rule of thumb, I hate sports on television. I can't think of anything more boring than watching football, soccer, baseball, hockey, golf, or any other sport on television.

So explain to me why, last sunday while in Vancouver, I spent an hour and a half watching Curling on television??? Why on earth would I spend that much time watching, with interest, something that looks like glorified shuffleboard, but on ice?

It must be something in the poutine........

Yes, but was it girls curling? There are some cuties on those teams. At least that is why me and my ex watch it. *grin*

A lot of people get fascinated by curling. It's not the poutine, because until recently you couldn't find that outside of Quebec and people were still into it. I've never grasped the obsession myself; my ex-lover Don was utterly addicted. Fortunately, it was a big apartment and I could get away.
