Some SCA Snarkage......
Dec. 16th, 2004 10:44 amRecently I was having a discussion with a friend off of LJ and somehow we got talking about which of the SCA peerages would fit into which house in Hogwarts.
Him: "So, where would the Laurels fit?"
Me: "They would be Ravenclaw. They're into study and knowledge"
Him: "What about the Pelicans then?"
Me, (laugh): "Oh, that's easy, they're in Hufflepuff. Remember, 'those patient Hufflepuff's are true and unafraid of toil', which describes most Pelicans to a T".
Him: "You wouldn't put the Knights into Slytherin, would you?"
Me: "No, the majority of them would go into Gryffindor, for being brave of heart and believing in chivalry"
Him: "Then who would go into Slytherin? I doubt you'd want to put the royal peers into there."
Me: "Oh, Slytherin's reserved for the BoD......."
