I tried it out and it still gives wonky direction to my house if one is coming from the 8 and its environs, as most people are. It tells you to take the 805 South to CA 125 to 94 and get off at Home. It ignores that you can take the 805 South direct to Home.
That's because the 125 to the 94 to the 805-n/home exit is actually the fastest and shortest route from east county. The 805-s from the 8 is more miles to the Home exit.
You could be right, there... Once the Beta bugs are worked out (I found about a dozen this morning since I started playing with it) and they start linking to yellow pages and/or white pages listings, it's gonna blow the socks off of anything else out there.
I love typing in stuff like "Food near courthouse" and getting the results in seconds, complete on a scrollable map with marked locations.
