In Jan. I noticed the San Diego Anime and Manga Meetup Group. So I signed on. However, life being what it is, I missed the Feb. meetup, and was going to try for the Mar. meetup.

So today I got this in the email from meetup.com:

"The Organizer of this group has just removed you from the group. The reason they gave for removing you is: You haven't visited the group website or taken an active part in the group in some time."

So, I guess if you miss one meeting, they don't want you.

Oh well.

Uhm, they probably know you're a friend of caprine and removed you because of that. This is the group that started a second SF Meetup so that they could have one that she wasn't involved in.

You just cemented my decision not to attend the Anime/Manga meetup again, ever.

It's possible that someone's mouse slipped and they meant to remove someone else...I dunno. If you sign up again and it happens again, then yeah, but I'd probably give them the benefit of the doubt once.
