Did a bad movie night at [livejournal.com profile] nolly's house sunday night.

In addition to "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter" and "Barn of the Blood Llama", (which seems to have tramatized people), I finally got a chance to see a movie several people have recommended "The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra", which is going to be in my collection as soon as I can get a copy. My Gods, it's screamingly funny. Will write a review of it shortly.

I would have to be high unto an elephant's ear AND drunk to be put through a bad movie night. Lord of the G-Strings tramatized me beyond all hope.

JC:VH and Lost Skeleton are cheesy fun -- they're bad, but it's silly-bad, not painful-bad. They aren't trying to be good; they're trying to be fun, and IMO, they succeed.

Barn will never again be shown in my presence. That hurt.

I think The Lost Skeleton was far more enjoyable than JC:VH, even though I did enjoy the latter movie. I agree with you about Barn. I think I'd have to have quite an incentive to ever willingly watch that movie again.

There is a reason I tell people I *won't* pay the therapy bills associated with "Barn of the Blood Llama"...... (though watching you giggle during it *was* funny) :-)

Get you a llama-shaped pinata and have you wack the heck out of it as therapy??

BTW, my review of "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter" is here:

And my review of "Barn of the Blood Llama" is here:

Hey, in answer to your question about who my Sci-Fi/Fantasy Lit teacher at Grossmont was, her name is Linda Mitchell. Gary(?) Phillips is teaching the English 110 class that is linked to the literature class. (They have this thing called Project Success at Grossmont where they group two classes together, and everybody who takes one takes the other, and there are joint projects between the two classes.)
