My usually tomboyish daughter has one "girly" thing she's gotten into.

I guess "My Little Pony" is less scary than some.....

What? Leathers and crops? :-P

Actually, as your daughter will she end up with My Little Dressage Competitions?

And you HAVE seen the Queen of Wands comic about the My Little Ponies, right?

Karl mentioned it, but I can't FIND it, and now it's going to bug me all night.

(chuckle) The problem is that everytime I see her playing with them, I think of that "Queen of Wands" strip......

I've taken to calling one of them "Meetball".

I knew Ed Klein (c.f. Eon, for those of you who follow really elaborate costuming at cons) back in the 80's, and I remember how much he HATED the "My Little Pony" cartoons. "Goddamned dog-asses on horses." That's all I can think about now when seeing "My Little Pony" anything. Goddamned dog-asses on horses.

I have my own Cabbage Patch Witch, complete with her own pentagram, care of a caring friend.

Somewhere online recently I saw a Phantom of the Opera MLP, maybe PatGund sent me the link actually. So many weird pictures in my head, where do they all come from?

I played with Breyer horses extensively as a child. "My Little Pony" is a less-breakable version. You've seen how I have grown up... heheheheh...

I figure in another year or two, it will be time to start her on the hard stuff - namely Breyer Horses......

likewise for me

I turned out okay and played with my sister's MLP when I was little because I liked horses and I'm okay. B.S. in C.S. and B.S. in B.S.- I mean philosophy... working supporting folks with DD's, gothic, a little on the poly and BDSM side of things.

My ex from high school on the other hand, had breyers. She turned out all psyho-street-trash though. Not to say everyone that does is that wya, she had other things going on too...

Wow, that was probably more about me than you really wanted to know...

Ok, this is dangerous. My Little Pony--shudder.

It's time to get her ballet slippers and a Barbie. Fast. Before she is utterly destroyed by Twinkie Cream between the ears.

Well, right now, she's got the ponies helping Bob the Builder in building a castle out of her duplo blocks.

So I suspect she's a long way away from twinkie cream....
