as a silly note that's not far different from how Islamic cultures come to decisions on matters of questionable issues. Some issues are not questioned (such as the "one god" thing - they've got it clearly marked down) and some should be (see 180+ year old cult that produced groups like the Taliban). But nonetheless, not all that different *grin*
Also aside - Jihad is the quest for purity through fire of one's -self-. Not one's brother, not one's neighbour, and not eachother or the guy down the road. Oneself. It's been misappropriated by others for other uses, but that's the real meaning of the term.
